Our history
Founded with a vision to provide exceptional education across various stages of learning, the Mata Harki Devi Group of Institutions is a beacon of knowledge and development. Our group encompasses a range of institutions, including primary schools, colleges for women, and teacher training colleges.

Our world is changing, and in order to prepare our children for this new world, we need to change the way we educate them. In the 21st century, educators must create a curriculum that will help students to connect with the world and understand the issues that our world faces. Teaching should not be merely mugging up the information rather it should cultivate and maintain student’s interest in the learning material by showing how this knowledge applies in the real world.
Curiosity of the student must be nurtured which will help them to become lifelong learners. On the whole, school should provide a platform to discover the possibilities to gain the knowledge and skills that are needed to face day to day challenges.

This institution is fortunate in receiving continued liberal support and commitment from the family of Ch. Devi Lal ji and thus has prospered to become an institution of repute in the area. Education is the fulcrum of life, for peace, progress and development. It provides seedlings for culture and civilization. It is a passport to freedom and liberty and a higher calling in life. In post-colonial era, education along with health, which are central to the contemporary debate on human development indicators, were recognized by development economists as a ‘human right’.
